Entro thrilled to welcome Leah Ferguson back to Entro as Design Director.

Leah’s return marks a full-circle moment for both her and Entro. After beginning her career at Entro and spending more than six years helping shape some of our most recognized aviation and transportation projects, Leah went on to expand her expertise at two of the world’s leading design firms—Gensler and HOK. She rejoins Entro, bringing an even broader perspective, deeper strategic experience, and a remarkable portfolio of complex, high-profile projects spanning aviation, sports, transportation, healthcare, and civic environments.

Throughout her career, Leah has built a reputation for navigating complexity. Her work sits at the intersection of wayfinding strategy, information architecture, accessibility, and experiential design, helping people move confidently through some of the world’s largest and most demanding environments.

Many of Entro’s clients and partners may already know Leah from her earlier contributions to landmark projects including Calgary International Airport (YYC), Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Vancouver International Airport (YVR), Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP), Jewel Changi Airport, Metrolinx, and the development of numerous passenger-facing information systems and experience strategies.

Leah has continued to build an impressive body of work. At Gensler, she led the analysis, strategy development, and implementation of the wayfinding system for the award-winning Harvey Milk Terminal 1 at San Francisco International Airport (SFO), one of the most ambitious airport redevelopment projects in North America. Working closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders, she helped shape a passenger experience that balances human-centered design, operational requirements, and accessibility within an extraordinarily complex environment.

More recently, as a Senior Designer at HOK, Leah has developed the strategy and implementation efforts for major sports and entertainment destinations, including the future home of New York City Football Club at Etihad Park and the Jacksonville Jaguars Stadium of the Future redevelopment. These projects required not only sophisticated wayfinding systems but also the development of naming strategies, information architecture frameworks, sponsorship integration approaches, and scalable signage programs capable of serving hundreds of thousands of visitors annually. Her work demonstrates a unique ability to translate complex operational, commercial, and experiential requirements into intuitive experiences for all users.

In addition to her professional practice, Leah recently completed her Master of Design in Design for Health at OCAD University, teaches wayfinding and experiential design at Sheridan College, and serves in a leadership role within the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD), helping connect and support design communities around the world.

Throughout her career, Leah has been recognized for bringing people together, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, mentoring emerging designers, developing tools and systems for design collaboration, and creating opportunities for teams to learn from one another.

As our clients continue to face increasingly complex challenges across aviation, transit, sports, healthcare, cultural, and civic environments, Leah’s experience and leadership will further strengthen Entro’s ability to deliver thoughtful, innovative, and human-centered solutions.

Please join us in welcoming Leah back to Entro. We are excited to have her expertise, creativity, and energy rejoin the team as we continue shaping experiences that help people navigate the world with confidence.
