The Weston Family Learning Centre provides educational space at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) for people of all ages to engage with and learn about art. Entro developed a new brand identity, fundraising brochure, and a signage and wayfinding program for the Centre.
The logo itself was rendered in the form of a drawing, with sketch lines around the words “learning centre.” The image evokes sketchbooks and the kind of conceptual play that is the beginning of all great creative projects.
For the signage and wayfinding system, we chose large, colourful letters, applied as vinyl film directly to the surface of walls. The words are all lowercase, emphasizing the democratic, personal and friendly style of the learning centre.
The elegant and artistic treatment, combined with the required functionality, provided a unique outcome for a unique centre.
