Hamilton Street Railway engaged Entro to develop a comprehensive signage and branding strategy for the city's MacNab Transit Terminal. This project was a cornerstone in the revitalization of downtown Hamilton.
The program reflects the terminal's contemporary design, with clean lines and minimal components. The high-impact environmental graphics complement the terminal’s primarily neutral palette of galvanized steel, concrete and stained cedar. Large-scale numbers playfully highlight each stop while providing critical route information to transit users.
The vibrant colours pick up the traditional colours of the Hamilton Street Railway, branding the entire site without literally using the HSR insignia. Attractive, changing window graphics help to create a friendly ambience.
