FLUSHING MEADOWS CORONA PARK

Queens, New York

Project

Entro is thrilled to be working on a comprehensive sign program for Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York. This 897-acre park last saw new signage in the 1990s; this new plan will be based on the NYC Parks Signage Guidelines and serve multiple functions including identification/gateway, orientation/wayfinding, interpretive, regulatory, vendor/concession, temporary, and outdoor art exhibit signage. Aside from the Park’s large size, other considerations include its numerous amenities, which require clear identification and wayfinding and sharing the Park’s rich history. One important goal of the program is to implement signage that is consistent, sustainable, and expandable. Flushing Meadows Corona Park is enjoyed by many diverse users, and Entro looks forward to enhancing their day-to-day Park experience.
