As we start to hear the promise of plans for loosening COVID-19 restrictions, a lot of us wonder about one area in particular – travel. Specifically, we wonder how the airport experience we know today will be much different as we move through these changes: How will we maintain social distance? Will there be screenings for the virus and how will they be conducted? How will airports handle travellers from different countries with varied policies? What does the journey through the airport look like? How will this affect the future of air travel all together?
On May 21st, we hosted a 1-hour panel, 'Passenger Experience After A Global Pandemic', with key industry leaders for a thought-provoking conversation on the ways that airports, airport environments, and wayfinding will need to respond to the upcoming phases of our world returning to travel.
