When the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) moved to their new facility at the MaRS tower (College St. and University Ave., Toronto), Entro developed a simple yet representative signage and identity program.
The approach to the reception area set the tone for the rest of OICR’s 5th floor space. The OICR logo was emphasized with halo illumination alongside a line drawing of a super-sized Circos map (a map used for cancer research). The map line drawing was then applied as a distraction pattern throughout the office. The room signage itself was designed to be minimal and straightforward to contrast the more complex visual elements of the space.
