Entro's Jacqueline Tang Joins ULI Panel on Creating an Inclusive Culture in City Building
Back To News
ULI’s Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) will be hosting this annual RESET Event. Aiming to shift perspectives and see our communities through other viewpoints, WLI has curated an evening to highlight the experience of those marginalized within our community – both newcomer professionals and those with disabilities – and the lessons city builders can learn. As a member of these groups, how easy or difficult is it to find your way around the City? How are living spaces designed for different family and ability types? How can we design a more inclusive culture in our public spaces, and in our retail offerings?
Drawing from these diverse perspectives, the event intends to ignite a reevaluation among city builders on how to design not just a more equitable city, but one that embraces the enjoyment of all its users.
This event brings together experts to kick off the discussion and then breaks out into “Hackathon” groups to explore and expose attendees to new ways of thinking about ability and culture. These groups will be led by Co-Conspirators with expertise in areas such as wayfinding, architecture, disability inclusive design, and public realm.
