Environmental / Experiential Graphic Designers

Our New York office is seeking design team members at senior, intermediate and/or junior design levels.

We are seeking Environmental/Experiential Graphic Designers who:

Contributes to the design, development, detailing and implementation of signage, experiential graphics, branding and communications projects, including:

• Embraces a design focus and encourages a vibrant and collaborative design office
• Participates in development of conceptual designs and effectively communicates storytelling component / design brief when presenting solutions
• Collaborates with team members in development of project materials including design concepts, renderings, programming (sign location plans, sign message schedule), design detailing, graphic artwork criteria and specifications
• Supports project team in reviewing and generating responses to implementation process deliverables, including submittals, site visits and punch lists
• Meets / collaborates with senior team members to understand budgets, timing, objectives, and priorities across multiple projects
• Provides necessary client liaison support throughout all stages of the project, including project stakeholder engagements and presentation of project deliverables and materials
• Maintains awareness of and always demonstrating a respectful, professional, and empathetic approach in all team, company-wide and outward industry and client focused interactions and engagements

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary degree, college diploma
• Minimum of 3-8+ years relevant professional experience in experiential graphic design, architecture, or industrial design firm setting
• Highly creative with the passion to innovate and encourage a vibrant design office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
• Computer literacy and good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and/or rendering programs a plus
• A portfolio that demonstrates experience with various aspects of design within the built environment

The ideal candidate has previous experience designing for the built environment. We currently have a hybrid remote-working scenario in effect, 3 days in the office and 2 days flex / work-from-home, but this is subject to change.
