Cynthia Damar-Schnobb

Cynthia has directed a vari­ety of EGD projects from health care, trans­porta­tion, civic, commer­cial, retail, and educa­tional facil­i­ties. With expe­ri­ence in indus­trial design, envi­ron­men­tal graphic design and user-interface design, she brings to the table a compre­hen­sive knowl­edge of wayfind­ing strate­gies and a thor­ough under­stand­ing of manu­fac­tur­ing meth­ods and tech­nolo­gies in design­ing three-dimensional forms.

Cynthia has been a valu­able contrib­u­tor and team lead for the devel­op­ment of a number of local and inter­na­tional projects. Some of her projects have been recog­nized through design awards such as “Design­ing for the Real World” and “DX Urban Design.”

Cynthia received her Bach­e­lor of Indus­trial Design degree from Carleton Univer­sity. She currently serves as Vice President of the Association of Chartered Industrial Designers of Ontario (ACIDO), and as Chapter Chair for the Toronto Chap­ter of the Soci­ety for Expe­ri­en­tial Graphic Design (SEGD). She is also on the Program Advisory Committee for one of the leading design schools in Canada, participating in the review and endorsement of a yet to be announced, undergraduate professional design degree program.
