Toronto’s Downtown Yonge Street was the focal point of a massive urban redevelopment project. Entro developed a new public identity and branded environment which recaptures the edge, diversity, and excitement of Toronto’s main street.
The logo celebrates the eclectic array of businesses and institutions found in the area, ranging from unique, family-run retail to the Eaton Centre and Ryerson University. Like pearls on a string, the tiny nuggets of diversity are displayed in the colourful dots of the logo.
The urban excitement of Downtown Yonge is emphasized by innovative graphics that brand the street. Special events and advertising are showcased to provide a revenue stream for the Downtown Yonge BIA.
