In collaboration with Terry Heard Designers, Entro developed the brand and wayfinding program for Aquatopia, a modern aquarium displaying a fascinating collection of exotic fish and unique aquatic creatures in high-tech surroundings. The aquarium complex offers both adults and children a fun and relaxing opportunity to learn and develop an awareness of ocean life.
The branding solution for Aquatopia expresses the fun and excitement associated with mysteries of the deep. Each application entertains and engages the audience using vivid colours, diverse graphic forms and playful images, including some of the species visitors will encounter in the aquarium.
Designing an effective environmental graphics program was an important component to the overall success of Aquatopia. From patterned wall graphics to floor roundels of iconic images, each piece was designed to add colour, create a sense of place, and provide context within the facility.
The branding solution for Aquatopia extended to transit and print advertising throughout Antwerp to establish the new attraction’s name and brand recognition.
