THE PUBLIC INTERFACE: A LINK BETWEEN BUILDING, OWNER & USERS

In public buildings such as museums and airports, the primary goal is to orientate the first time user so that he or she can find their way without stress and confusion. To accomplish this, signs are typically the first tool to come to mind. However, there can be much more to a wayfinding system than just signs.

How can you create a branded environment? How do you express the voice of the owner? Architecture sets the tone, mood, and general impression, but graphics, electronic displays, and wayfinding “speak” to the audience.

In his presentation, The Public Interface, Udo Schliemann will show examples on how Entro Communications creates environments that are in tune with the architect’s vision, and add a layer of artistic expression to emphasize the purpose and mission of the owner.
