RGD Social Good Design Awards (So Good)

November 7, 2013

Story
“Every year, the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD) invites submissions of graphic design projects done under the theme of communication design for social good; work with the power to incite action and make meaningful change in the way we live our lives.” — RGD

Partnering with RGD, Entro created the identity and print materials for the 2013 Social Good Design Awards.

To highlight the award winners, Entro designed the brochure using a warm and bold colour palette to reflect the new RGD logo. Red is the eye-catcher, representing good will, caring, and the RGD. It was important to honor all the winners distinctly so each page was given its own unique layout.

The pencil logo theme is reflected in the landing pages, overall color scheme, and layout of the brochure. An engaging and punchy look was created across the spreads while maintaining order and consistency with a simple and effective grid. A finite use of contrasting fonts ensures clarity and hierarchy. Ultimately, the booklet is clean and readable yet vivid and evokes interest as your eyes dance from image to image.

Entro, as proud design partners with RGD, congratulate all of the winners of the 2013 Social Good Design Awards.
